Synopsis

"Return of the Outlaw Prince" With Oliver Queen returned, Marianne writes a story about his return. Elsewhere, Oliver makes good his return, and busts some racist thugs. Meanwhile, Officer Kaz destroys more evidence linking him with the Tanetti case. Oliver visits Lieutenant Cameron claiming his innocence. He suggests that Cameron investigate reasons for targeting Vinnie Tanetti, rather than his nephew, since they were both murdered. As he leaves, Oliver plants a bug in Cameron's office, and overhears that the ballistics for the killings show that the extractor and ejector marks on the bullets don't match, meaning that the gun was modified, and not necessarily the one used by Ollie. Dinah Lance pays a visit to Kaz. At first, she seems to be there to talk about the fact that Oliver has returned, and as such Kaz's hopes for romance with her must be dashed. However, she soon begins to indicate that she suspects him of killing the Tanettis. When Kaz realizes that he's been found out, Oliver appears, warning that the police will soon arrive. Kaz makes a run for it, and Oliver makes to pursue, but Dinah stops him. Kaz gets on his motorcycle, and Dinah chases after. She stands in front of his bike, and he stops. She asks him who will give him absolution for the murders, no matter how bad the Tanettis were. To Dinah's horror, Kaz says "no one," pulls out his gun, and shoots himself in the head.
